Birth
This series is about emergence.
About the moment when silence becomes unbearable.
When the old body, the old role, the old “self” no longer fit.
When fear is left behind, because the pain of holding back
has become even stronger.
The red fabric isn’t just a backdrop.
It’s a womb. A curtain. A symbol of the threshold
between “before” and “after.”
This is a moment of second birth — not physical,
but inner, raw, and real.
In the first image, the movement begins.
In the second, it reaches its peak: the figure opens the curtain like a gate and takes a deep breath. It’s not a scream —
it’s the first sip of fresh air. The beginning of a new life.
In the third, the curtain is gone.
No barriers, no protection.
Only the body remains — vulnerable and strong.
This frame speaks of the strength in openness.
The power of softness. Of the body.
Of the pause between who we were and who we are becoming.
It’s not about weakness — it’s about a truth that can no longer be contained.
I created this series as a way to live through my own transition.
A passage toward myself.
Sometimes, we are born more than once.
Sometimes, that’s the only way we remain truly alive.
